The Institute approaches this volume with care. It documents the apex of Subject P.'s life trajectory — 7th grade, c. 1998 — a height not since surpassed. Coverage of these years is thin; the Institute has requested yearbook scans from Renae.
Field note
A formal portrait, all six Folkmans present. Subject P. wears a Notre Dame t-shirt to a formal family photograph. He has, in the intervening decades, been unable to adequately explain the affiliation. The Institute logs this as a representative artifact of the Peak Parker aesthetic — confident, unaccountable, and not subsequently improved upon.
Field note
The Institute logs Subject P.'s "Coolness Score by Life Stage" as reaching its all-time high during this academic year. No photographic plate is currently on file for the peak itself — a gap the Institute considers thematically appropriate. The trajectory from this point is, by all available measures, monotonically downward. (See The Evidence, Fig. 9.)
